Finally, I did a photo shoot using models other than myself. I had a big girls' sleep-over and took some photos of two of my best buds. I'd offered to take photos of one of the girls previously and she said she'd think about it. So we all had a couple of brewskies and got the camera out.

I've run these photos by the girls and gotten their consent to post them. They said yes, as long as I don't show their faces. Like me initially, they wanted to retain their privacy. A shame really, because many of the photos are really made by their facial expressions.

The reactions when I showed my friends their photos made my day. There were a couple of photos in particular that made them blush wildly, giggle and fall to the floor in shock. Photos very similar to my 'Lacey' series actually, which can be seen here [link] .

At first I thought, "Oh no, I've gone too far taking a photo like that and now they're embarrassed and pissed at me." But no, the reaction was more of a, "OMG, I've been told before that my arse is hot, but I never really believed it. Now I'm seeing it how other people have seen it and OMG, it really is hot !" To see these women seeing themselves how others have seen them, ie, beautiful, sexy and hot, was fantastic. These women are in their late 20's and have had children. It was so nice to see them seeing themselves as all woman ... not just mothers.

All you women out there ... invite a couple of your closest girlfriends over for a big girls' sleep-over, have a couple of brewskies if you need to (it helps with the inhibitions), get your camera out and get your gear off. Don't be afraid to tell your girlfriends how hot they look and don't be afraid to try out different poses etc. Rearrange knickers, bras, boobs, shirts ... whatever ... be hands-on, so that they look their best. Don't be afraid to say, "Bend over, push your arse out, arch your back, drop your hip ... yeh, your arse looks great with that little crease." It'll make your girlfriends look AND feel great. What a fabulous way to celebrate beauty and womanliness with your girlfriends ! Then sit back and look at the photos together. Have a laugh at the crap ones and compliment each other on the good ones.

I have more photos from the Big Girls' Sleep-Over but I still need to run them through PSP before I can post them. Soon as I find the motivation to do that they'll be posted, so be patient.
